MG Capital Limited was incorporated on 19th September 2000 by the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales as the parent company of a specialist investment group focused on areas in which it believes it can generate superior and sustainable long term investment returns. These include emerging markets (particularly those of Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Russia, and Eastern Europe), natural resources, media/intellectual property, and smaller companies. Through its subsidiary MG Global Investment it offers specialist funds and investment services designed to exploit both capital market and private equity opportunities in these areas.

The management of MG Capital and its group of companies comprise a team of professionals from a variety of disciplines. Between them they have many years of experience gained at senior positions at leading international financial houses, with expertise in a broad range of traditional and alternative investment strategies. There is a shared commitment to producing superior returns in absolute rather than in relative terms, by leveraging off the core competencies and relative advantages of the members of the team.
